Spiffy

That was a fun little animation. Surreal, but not incomprehensibly so.

And, by the way, your preloader was like reusable bubble-wrap -- even more awesome a timewaster than the real thing. I didn't even notice that the animation had loaded until I had been playing with the preloader for a minute or two. :D

You've got Fave!

I have to say, as long as this thing's been on the portal, I just noticed it today by bouncing through the favorites list of one of the (until today, two) people on my favorites list...

You have been added to that list with this submission for the following reasons:
- 1) Hand animation is a complete pain in the butt. Even for simple-seeming characters like "Timmy" here. I know this, and cannot achieve what you have.
- B) It was random-ish. That is to say, it had elements of What-the-F**kness (that can be a word if I want it to) without being an entirely unconnected series of events.
- III) The voice acting for Timmy, the "You've Got Mail" voice and the cultured voice were all absolutely perfect for the feel of the piece.
- [random fish-shaped squiggle]) Not only was the set-up and punchline perfectly timed, the presence of so many good jokes in such a short piece is a sign of true excellence.

So you get a ten. You've earned it.

Cute

You know, the bit with Tails at the end just absolutely made this anim work. Up to that was just pure random - not necessarily bad - but Tails' reaction was priceless.

Heh.

Okay, so it wasn't laugh-out-loud funny, but it was fun, and the seriously random stuff in there didn't feel totally out-of-place. Overall, I say thumbs up. (It helps that I've loved worms for a long time, too.)

*giggle*

If I had been any more awake -- and thus had more energy -- I'd have literally laughed out loud. Any less and I might have believed it.

One or two more "case studies" would not have gone too far, I think.

WOW.

Generally with a collab of this size, the overall work suffers from the number of vastly diverse artists participating.

Surprisingly enough, this is not the case, here. Some rather remarkable imagery, following the feel of the song and the lyrics quite well.

Seriously good work, here.

Not too shabby

It drags in places, but the jokes are good. Animation's very good as well.

I likey

Of course, for literary accuracy's sake, all I can think of now is a Cutethulhu Jell-O mold...

Hmmm...

No. No, that would be wrong.

Eyes... bleeding...

Holy mother of all that is holy. Just think what you could achieve if you took twice as long to fill in the frame-rate. The voice acting varies between good and pretty darn good, the dialogue is slightly better than that, even, and the music was superb.

I'm wavering a bit on the crow, I should let you know. Generally speaking, comic relief characters aren't introduced so late in a story. Still, he's a good character, and SOMEBODY had to say "oh crap" when the trap was set off.

HOLY CRAP!

Y'know... I hate rotoscoping. I mean, really, with a passion, hate rotoscoping. And yet... you made it good. Somehow, and this is not sarcasm, this animation (and its predecessor) have redeemed rotoscoping in my eyes.

A very creative use of everyday actions. Did you do the sound composition yourself as well? If so, MANY MANY KUDOS!

Dustball responds:

Thanks! Yes, I recorded all of the sounds and then arranged them into the music.

Yes, I am working on flash stuff. Yes, it is a pain to do so. :) Hopefully, you'll be able to see something soon, though.
